FCRP 2025 Will Be an Exclusively In-Person Conference at Pendle Hill
Pendle Hill
The Quaker conference and retreat center, Pendle Hill, 338 Plush Mill Road, Wallingford, Pennsylvania, is approximately 20 miles west of Philadelphia and next door to Swarthmore College on Main Line Philadelphia. It is a verdant, tranquil place which offers home-like places conducive to introspection, meditative and religious study and for events that include the same, particularly in springtime.

PLEASE NOTE: Pendle Hill’s Covid policy requires proof of full vaccination and recommends a negative Covid test no more than three days prior to the conference. You will be asked for this documentation via email in advance of the conference. Masks are required indoors except when dining.
By Car
Pendle Hill is easily accessible by car (take Exit 3 for Media/Swarthmore on route 476).
Complete directions can be found on Pendle Hill’s website.
Please note that pre-holiday weekend rush hour traffic on Friday near Philadelphia can be challenging. Please leave extra time for traveling by car to Pendle Hill on Memorial Day weekend.

Public Transportation
Pendle Hill is easily accessible by public transportation. Wallingford train station is serviced by SEPTA, Philadelphia’s suburban train line, from 30th Street Station.

The 10- to 15-minute walk from Wallingford train station to Pendle Hill campus can be problematic because of short lapses in sidewalks. If you would like a ride from the train station to campus, please email friendsconferencereg@gmail.com for assistance coordinating this.

Taxi cabs, Uber and Lyft provide transport from the Philadelphia
International Airport to Pendle Hill. Also the Philadelphia airport is serviced by SEPTA. It is possible to take the train from the airport into Philadelphia and then out from 30th Street Station to Wallingford.
